Even
though Booster Juice may seem healthy they are very high in calories about 400
- 600calories per drink. But there all fruits like berries, and its about 4
servings per drink also. Also that could be a small meal for people who work
out and need those extra small meals. Even though fruit is healthy, there's
such thing as over eating which is not that good. I personally think that if
your trying to loose weight or just keep a healthy lifestyle you should have
them in the morning because you can consume the most calories and carbs of the
day in the morning because you are able to burn them throughout the day plus
your daily exercise. But if you want it for a meal replacement I don't
recommend it because it wont last long and your get hungry faster plus that's
means you will over eat because its takes about three hours for your stomach to
get empty again.
so I
prefer to have a smoothie in the morning, do you guys agree ? if not tell me
your explanation, I am curious :)
- Ask for water instead of juice to cut down on sugar
- Get the frozen yogurt instead of the sorbet
- Bring your own protein powder if you have an allergy or sensitivity to dairy or soy, they are very good at customizing your beverage.
Hello Kayla,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you regarding best times to drink smoothies. I particularly love high protein smoothies because I have difficult eating enough food at times, which isn't good at all. Under my Dr's direction I go through many periods of drinking a variety of smoothies in addition to whatever healthy meals I am able to manage. Times, when I am more active, I typically add them to by diet for the extra calories and so on. This helps ensure that I don't get ill because of a weakened, unnecessary immune system due to lack of vitamins and nutrients typically found in food.
It is extremely important that our sugars are working properly because it can lead to diseases, which can result in diabetes if it is not controlled and in turn may cause other diseases to surface. This I have personal experience with. Additionally, I have heard people say that too much sugars (especially the bad sugars) are bad for you, yet I rarely hear people talk about the seriousness of having low sugars. Low sugars are considered to be even worse than having high sugars.
Eating properly is so important to everyone, and I appreciate your choice in a personal blog. Looking forward to reading more, and learning how to make different smoothies since I have not been so great in that area (ha ha).
Blessings,
Thank you sharing,
Michelle
