More than smoothies....

Booster juice has more than smoothies they have delicious looking food items as well. I've never tried them because its too much curbs and calories but if you’re having a cheat day I would recommend there.  They range from chicken/steak wraps, to tasty pastries. There are good snacks or meal and you can always add a smoothie to get your fruits servings for the day. The items have a good amount of vitamins and fibre but I also recommend, if your trying these foods is to eat them during the day / morning so you will have to time to burn them off because a chicken wrap is 427 calories.

Here are a few items they sell:
Chipotle Chicken Wrap: Grilled chicken strips, Monterey Jack cheese, Chipotle sauce, mixed peppers and red onions served on a grilled (or cold) tortilla shell of your choice. .  427 cal.

Smoked BBQ Steak Wrap: Grilled steak strips, Monterey Jack cheese, Chipotle/BBQ sauce, mixed peppers and red onions served on a grilled (or cold) tortilla shell of your choice. . 411cal.

Steak/Egg Scrambled Wrap: Grilled steak strips, scrambled eggs, Monterey Jack cheese, and salsa or BBQ sauce served on a grilled (or cold) tortilla shell of your choice. . 486 cal.

Tuna Wrap: Tuna, spinach, Monterey Jack cheese, celery and low fat mayonnaise served on a grilled (or cold) tortilla shell of your choice. 348 cal.

Pros & Cons

Even though Booster Juice may seem healthy they are very high in calories about 400 - 600calories per drink. But there all fruits like berries, and its about 4 servings per drink also. Also that could be a small meal for people who work out and need those extra small meals. Even though fruit is healthy, there's such thing as over eating which is not that good. I personally think that if your trying to loose weight or just keep a healthy lifestyle you should have them in the morning because you can consume the most calories and carbs of the day in the morning because you are able to burn them throughout the day plus your daily exercise. But if you want it for a meal replacement I don't recommend it because it wont last long and your get hungry faster plus that's means you will over eat because its takes about three hours for your stomach to get empty again.

so I prefer to have a smoothie in the morning, do you guys agree ? if not tell me your explanation, I am curious :)

Ways to make your smoothie healthier:
- Ask for water instead of juice to cut down on sugar
- Get the frozen yogurt instead of the sorbet
- Bring your own protein powder if you have an allergy or sensitivity to dairy or soy, they are very good at customizing your beverage.

SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS

Booster Juice can make your smoothie unique, to make it your own. Booster Juice shots are a healthy boost to your smoothie, and the only contain about 2 or 3 calories. The shots have a good amount of nutrition like in the "Wheatgrass" is rich in chlorophyll, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, and  is considered by some as the “complete food” in terms of nutrition. Some of these shots can be a cleanser and blood purifier, and thus boosts immune system, and a good note is like the "Wheatgrass" it’s proven in aiding weight lost, which for me and a lot of ladies that's a big plus and it’s also proven to prevent acne.

I tried "Matcha Shaker Single Shot 105mL" which is Matcha green tea and vanilla soymilk shaken to perfection, the taste was alright but I took it because it had 15% of Vitamin B12 and 18% of Vitamin C which is awesome for my metabolism, which I want to increase!

Myself & a healthy lifestyle

Being a gym freak, working out five days a week I'm always looking for healthier way to eat less and consume my protein to gain muscle and stay lean. Booster juice is a great snack, or even be a small meal, if you trying to get those 5/6 smalls meals in. Booster Juice is convenient and local I see one everywhere I go! They’re very easy to find and the price are reasonable but that also depends on what you want to get.

There are many categories to choose from like if you want a sweet smoothie just to satisfy your sweet tooth or it ranges to healthy smoothies that will benefit you like “High Protein " or " Hardcore " which is greens and vegetables, I usually get the high protein like "Bananas-A-Whey" . There are also a variety of supplements you can add to your smoothie to make it even more unique for you to drink like fruit juice as a base, and then they add fruit, a protein powder, frozen yogurt or sorbet, I always go for the protein powder.
